This is just a little update to highlight some of Spurstow Parish Council’s efforts to support local residents.
Speed Awareness Bin Stickers
We are keenly aware that an issue of particular concern to residents is speed. We have been working closely with Cheshire East to look into the best ways to manage this situation. In addition we have been seeking out local ways to address these issues. One of our most recently initiatives has been the purchase and distribution of speed awareness bin stickers to households located on roads of percieved speed issues. We would like to take this opportunity to encourage you to attach your stickers to the bin in an effort to promote safer driving through the parish.
We still have a small number of bin stickers left which can be purchased for £1+ P&P via the Parish Clerk. If you are interested please email clerk@spurstow-pc.gov.uk
Operation Shield Property Marking Kits
We have also been investigating ways to help local residents protect themselves against property theft and have collaborated with Cheshire Police to purchase unique property marking kits to households within the parish. The kits have been made available to residents for a subsidised cost of £5+ P&P normally £10 and have now been distributed to residents.
